Emily Joy is an American artist living in Columbus, Georgia. She received her Bachelor's degree in Art Education from Columbus State University. She has been a practicing artist since 2006 and has participated in several local art exhibitions. Some of Emily’s recent work is inspired by her love of illustrations in children’s literature. A child’s first introduction to art is usually through the form of book illustrations.

Her original works usually convey a message or tell a story through a single image. Her custom commissioned works are painted to realistically capture people, places, and pets through watercolors so they may be treasured and remembered for a lifetime.
